Hey guys,
I am trying to get rid of a 2000 RockShox SID XC. It has a 7 1/8 long steerer tube and 80mm of travel. Compatible with both disk and post mount brakes (although, you would have to find the posts somewhere). There are definitely some wear and rub marks, but the stanchions are still in good condition and the seals are still intact. I would also include a shock pump with it.
$50obo
Cheers,
Alec

Yeah, despite sending out my phone number and my itinerary for a two week period some people still failed to contact me so I stopped trying to track you guys down. I'll bring the bibs to the first team meeting.

no shorts/bibs? i was kinda hoping to get the whole uniform this year...

* We can talk about ordering team bibs at the 1st meeting. There were some issues with sizing with the last order, so we'll need to arrange a "sizing" meeting where you can try samples on. Bibs are around $115.00 (+/-)
Yeah a full kit would be cool, but I still need to receive my bib order from last year!  I sent some messages around before summer but no one responded.  Anyone have mine?

Have you checked with Chris McKnight? He is the one who organized it and was handing them out in the AC.

Shit, i haven't been able to find them yet, i might have misplaced them. I can give my house one more thorough look on the weekend, but you may probably have to look else where for cleats. Sorry man.

yeah it seems like most of the trails are all super hardpacked. what kind of tires do you guys run for the trails we train on? ive been running mountain kings all summer where i live but im thinking smallblocks are probably better if everything is like the don.

the don doesn't drain very well, so it's usually a mud pit for a day or two after a good rain.  This year has been pretty good for drying due to the insane heat however, so it's usually been ridable about 1-1.5 days after a downpour.  In generalyou should try to stay off the Don trails when it's wet because it is almost all clay or sand and is more prone to some nasty erosion when wet.,

hey im new to the team this year. im from out of town so i dont know the trails here but id like to get back into training asap. i went to this don valley place a few days ago and it was a mudhole pretty much. i dont know if its just certain sections that are like that? either way im game for joining in on some rides and meeting some of the team.

These bikes would be good to race with... downhill

For the kind of racing we're doing, those bikes would be absolutely terrible. Really, the explanation is in the name, those bikes are made for going downhill as fast as possible and doing no kind of climbing. The huge shocks front and rear absorb a lot of of energy you put into the pedals while the cockpit itself is predisposed to facing downhill, meaning on a flat or on a uphill you'd almost be facing upwards
